What is your blog approval policy?

We are looking for genuine sites that are actively maintained and offer some form of real value to their readers. Our moderators manually check every site before approving them to use PostJoint.

Factors taken into consideration:

  • Traffic - monthly unique visitors / page views
  • Voice and authenticity - includes tone and writing style
  • Engagement and social stats - likes, tweets, followers, comments
  • Current monetisation methods and ad-to-content ratios
  • Niche and target demographics - sites with some sort of focus are preferred
  • PageRank, Domain Authority, Klout and Alexa
  • Design and presentation
  • About page and background info
Unacceptable Sites:
  • Zero signs of engagement, comments or social activity
  • Made to sell links
  • Rehashed or dull content with no original value
  • Poor English with spelling or grammar mistakes
  • Excessive ads or anchor text links (especially irrelevant ones)
  • Boilerplate templates or poor presentation
  • Laden with guest posts, coupon codes, reviews or affiliate links
  • Users of Infolinks, Triond and other similar systems
  • Newly created sites or dropped domains
  • General sites without an overarching theme*

*General sites with lots of categories - We prefer sites with some sort of theme or focus. Sites that cover a wide variety of topics can be seen as 'post farms' and cannot be accepted (unless you're well established). Please avoid adding new content categories to your site in order to make more use of PostJoint as this will result in your site being removed. Remember, PostJoint is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Site ownership and control - You must be the site owner or have direct editorial control over all pages of each site submitted (includes staff and agencies). Having a public writers or members account does not count. We reserve the right to ask for verification of your ownership or editorial control.

Adding multiple blogsSign up with your first blog then add additional ones via your account page.

Declined sites - Feel free to ask for re-consideration after 3 months provided you've worked on improving your site. We can't give out specific feedback due to the volume of applications we deal with, so please don't ask for it.

Please allow up to 72 hours for your site to be reviewed. PostJoint reserves the right to only grant access to approved users, and to withdraw access for approved users at anytime. For more info refer to our terms of service.
